About Pecsday – Our Story
Making training cheaper, quicker, funner
About Pecsday: “Going to the gym” is the default option for everyone looking to get fitter, but what if there’s a cheaper, quicker, and funner way?
I’m Alex, the founder of Pecsday, and I believe that fitness should be simple, sustainable, and empowering for everyone:
- Those who are anxious about going to the gym
- Those who can’t afford the membership
- Those who live far away from a gym or don’t have the time to commute to one
- Those who are bored of lifting weights time after time and want something more interesting
Through PecsDay, I want to share the tools, equipment, and knowledge to make fitness accessible for everyone, no matter where they are or how busy life gets. We’re here to help you build strength, flexibility, and endurance with only your body weight and a few effective pieces of equipment.
You can get started with our 100% free calisthenics app, our blog full of resources, buy our equipment, or just get in touch with us.
Join me on this journey towards a healthier, more active lifestyle—one that fits seamlessly into your life.
How Calisthenics Changed My Life
Picking up calisthenics was one of the best decisions of my life. It changed the way I look at myself in the mirror, it increased my health and made me feel better on a day-to-day basis, and it probably will increase my longevity. All for an activity that barely takes 3 hours per week. I have detailed my 7-year calisthenics transformation on my blog, but here are the cliff notes.
- 2017 – 73kg Before starting calisthenics – I don’t have a shirtless picture of back then, I was kinda fat and didn’t want to take any.
- 2018 – 72kg – Seeing the first results, my arms grew a lot. Also achieved 50 push-ups in a row
- 2020 – 72kg – I was showing clear signs of having abs, but not that much strength
Back then I also started being on a caloric restriction with keto and OMAD – it was a lot for me, but I got used to it in the following years. A true testament that diet is everything
- 2023 – 77kg (lean) – I had a killer diet for like 6 months straight, I was doing weighted muscle ups, and achieved 100 push-ups in a row. Compared to my strength, my body felt like a feather.
- 2024 – 83kg (bulked) – I kinda miss being lean, but my chest became absolutely massive.
